2023: I’ll obtain presidential form if encouraged -Dankwambo

  PhotoCredit: politiciansdata.com Former Gombe State Governor, Ibrahim Dankwambo, said he would obtain presidential form if his supporters encourage him to participate in the 2023 election. The two-term immediate past governor stated this on Saturday while briefing journalists shortly after he was received at the secretariat of the Peoples Democratic Party. Dankwambo has been away from Gombe politics in the last three years but according to him, the PDP nomination form is still being sold and he could buy, following the outcome of his consultation with his supporters, adding that he was willing to make sacrifices. He said, “I’m not sure whether anybody told me I should come out for anything. I came out before, my aspiration was to become President in 2019. “If they want me to purchase form I will go and get form. We will consult, including the people, if they think I can be President. Train Bomb: Nigerians are no longer safe anywhere, says Obasanjo

He made this known at his residence,  in Abeokuta, Ogun State while receiving a Peoples Democratic Party presidential aspirant, Dr Ugochukwu Williams, and his team. Obasanjo,while reacting to the recent attacks on the Kaduna-Abuja train with no fewer than seven persons were confirmed dead and 21 passengers missing, said the development has shown that Nigerians are not safe anywhere – in vehicles, on the train or on aircraft. Ghana qualified on an away goal advantage. Nigeria hosted Ghana in the second-leg of the 2022 World Cup playoff on Tuesday at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja. Nigeria lost the match against Ghana which could have qualified them for the World Cup and mark the country’s fourth successive appearance at the global tournament.
